MyVegas and MyKonami – How to Book Free Rooms

When you play MyVegas or Konami slots, you can book free rooms with your points. This is a step by step guide on how you can do this quickly.

Start by exchanging your loyalty points for free room coupons. You can build up loyalty points playing myVegas blackjack, myVegas Slots, Pop Slots, and my Konami Slots. Exchange your points by opening the Rewards Icon on your desktop within the game.

Go to Partners – and then choose the hotel you want to stay at. You’ll then generally be given a variety of room types and offers for the rooms. There are different types of deals – percentage off deals, exclusive rates, and then typically comp nights at the end of the list. You can generally get one or two nights free, depending on the time of year and how busy the hotels are.

Select the reward you want, read the fine print / dates, and if you’re happy you can enter your First Name, Last Name and email address to purchase it into your cart.

Once you’ve purchased the reward, you’ll be sent an email from My Vegas (or My Konami) with a redemption link. Use the redemption link in the email you receive, to go to MGM’s Mlife – you’ll then need to login to your Mlife membership account.

Once logged in, select your dates. You may be shown a price for the room (normal retail) – but don’t worry, because your room is a comp. Select the room type you want from the rooms that are offered to you.

You can normally see the room amenities listed – like whether it has a kitchenette, a mini-fridge, spa pool, walk-in shower, dining table etc. Once you’ve selected the room, the price should show as comped ($0.00).

Note that these “free rooms” are not free of resort fees or taxes, so you will need to still pay those. But typically a 2 night stay that might normally cost you say $350 + taxes + resort fee may end up being closer to $100 – so it’s still a huge saving!

And all from getting loyalty points playing free games!

You may be offered additional upgrades like VIP check-in. These additional upgrades are totally up to your own discretion. I’ve never found any need to pay for these – especially midweek when the casinos are quiet.

Generally the taxes and fees are paid at time of check-in (not booking) – so if you need to cancel in advance of your trip, you’ll typically not lose any actual cash.

Normally your loyalty points can be returned back to your Mlife account if there’s any problem – but do check the fine print when booking.
